About

Innimmo is an activist investor group focused predominantly on privately held targets in Continental Europe and the UK. We acquire and hold majority ownership positions in high-growth potential, under-valued or distressed companies or asset portfolios.

Innimmo was founded in 2003 and is partner owned and partner driven.

Investment Range

Our preferred industry verticals include Financial Services, Energy and Real Estate *. Our typical deal size ranges from EUR 10M to EUR 250M and our usual holding period does not exceed 60 months.

Investment and deal management process-wise, we build and lead investment consortia with family offices, private individuals, fund vehicles, debt funds and banks. We always act as lead investor and together with our in-house or affiliated partners we exercise a focused hands-on approach to all phases of the turnaround and unlock-value process.

Valeri Valtchev

Founder and Managing Partner

Valeri is a serial entrepreneur and investor. During the last 15 years, he has invested in over 15 companies in Bulgaria, some of which made it from start-ups to well-established ventures. Valeri built successful businesses in IT, financial services, professional services, energy, automotive, real estate, telecoms, and entertainment. In the last couple of years, he’s been focusing on redefining payments by building several fintech companies among which Paynetics, Phyre, and Phos. He is also Chairman of the Bulgarian Fintech Association. He was previously an international lawyer with White & Case in Brussels and Washington D.C.

Svetoslav is a long-term high-end lawyer turned serial investor. Prior to Innimmo Svetoslav was active as a Managing Partner at one of the largest Bulgarian law firms – Penkov, Markov & Partners, boasting an extensive experience as litigator, especially in the areas of IT, TMT and FinTech

Kaloyan is an accountant by training and serial entrepreneur and strategist by design. As a kid Kaloyan usually ranked second in table tennis tournaments, but was always second to none in mathematics.

Kaloyan is a seasoned real estate professional with over 20 years of experience across the residential and commercial property domains. Prior to Innimmo Kaloyan was General Manager of Mall Varna and Mall Galeria Burgas.

Alexander Sirakov

Principal, Head of M&A

Alexander comes with 15 years of experience in investment management with prime focus across M&A, venture capital and financial technology. Alexander was Innimmo’s fourth team member prior to taking an 8+ year education and working experience leave to China. Along with Innnimmo, Alex was a senior director at Kapronasia, an Asia focused consultancy, co-managed a project under the cap of German KfW Bank in Shanghai and acted as head of cross-border investor on behalf of a Chinese lending fintech..

Alex’ deals and projects experience spans across Europe, China, India, Pakistan, Australia, Brazil.

Alex holds a MA in Finance and speaks English, German, Russian, Mandarin Chinese and Bulgarian.

Tanya is the administrative director of Innimmo and several of Innimmo’s key portfolio companies. Along with key tasks in office administration and treasury, and supporting functions in accounting and asset management, she is also an avid proponent of healthstyle and impeccable dress code conduct across the entire organization. Tanya is a trained optician and also holds a BA in Economics and Marketing.

Marketing and Communications manager
Michaela is Innimmo’s Marketing and Communications manager and comes with over 10 years of experience in marketing and sales. Born in Sofia, Michaela has spent the most of his life and career across Spain, Italy, Japan, South Africa, and the USA. She speaks Bulgarian, Spanish, English, Italian, French, and Portuguese fluently and holds a BA in Sports Management and a MA in marketing and PR.

Paynetics is a financial technology company, both issuer and acquirer, counting among the leading embedded finance players in Europe. The company is dually licensed, holder of EMI licenses covering both the EU and the UK. Principal member of Visa and Mastercard, SEPA, SWIFT.

Lozen Heights

MVB (Man Truck & Bus dealership in Bulgaria)

MVB was incepted as a venture project by Innimmo and external partners in 2013, following a vacuum in the MAN Truck & Bus dealership representation in Bulgaria. Built from scratch, the business swiftly reached a runner-up position in terms of vehicle-units sold in the country two years after inception. Innimmo exited the business to a strategic player in 2018.
